CINN, International Center for Neonatal Neurodevelopment, was designed to support neonatal care unit centers in the category of perinatal asphyxia and neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, as its professional team is endowed with great capacity and extensive experience in the subject due to several years of dedication and research on the subject.
With several works published in renowned national and international scientific journals, and with “in loco” practice with newborns with different degrees of neurological and/or systemic involvement, it managed to create standards of care for these patients, with personalized treatment in Therapeutic Hypothermia .
This all encouraged us to create a unique model for such therapy: NEONATFLOW .
A practical, easy-to-handle, intuitive, fully servo-controlled equipment that works in a laminar flow environment with predetermined temperature, humidity and insulation, and can be used with parameter variations according to your needs and preference.
We provide support and training, with all the necessary logistics for using this equipment in the aforementioned hypothermic therapy.
The use of NEONATFLOW goes beyond its use in cases of newborns with a picture of Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy. It also replaces the radiant heat cradle currently present in the delivery room when receiving the NB. Since, by its laminar flow system, by the emission of heat by conviction and by the maintenance of humidity necessary for the NB, it avoids in this way the insensible losses of a premature newborn, for example. It also facilitates the handling of the NB since there are no mechanical barriers that would make handling the baby difficult.
For this reason, it can also be used to replace incubators, precisely because it creates an environment of extreme isolation, thanks to its laminar flow mechanism and its Hepa filter, thus avoiding contamination by particles smaller than 0.3 microns in size (bacteria, fungi, etc), even allowing doctors and paramedics, as well as parents, to handle the baby without risk of contaminating it thanks to the “glove” effect created by the laminar flow.
Therefore, it also serves as a surgical bed due to its high degree of isolation, allowing for surgery in a clean field and with adequate space for such handling.

OUR PRODUCT
The equipment called NEONATFLOW, conceived by our consultant Dr. José Maria Rodriguez Perez , and developed with the company Mendel Medical.
NEONATFLOW :
INSULATION: through laminar flow and Hepa filter, the insulation keeps the patient isolated without mechanical barriers or access door openings without interfering with the temperature and humidity of the microenvironment and no oscillation during treatment.
HEATING: convection heat reduces insensible losses, without transepidermal losses of water and/or electrolytes.
THERAPEUTIC HYPOTHERMIA: convection temperature control prevents the risk of subcutaneous necrosis, without the need for the newborn to be constantly repositioned, temperature adjustment by rectal and/or transdermal sensor, as well as an air sensor; extends or interrupts therapeutic hypothermia as needed, has a servo-controlled heating ramp.
